The past few weeks have been busy... Aislyn has been fighting colds and fevers- she even passed it on to us, which made it even more interesting. She has been a little trooper in and out of doctor visits and high temperatures. She doesn't mind having her ear temp checked, but not too thrilled about being held for the 22 seconds needed for the under arm temp. Aislyn will play full speed until her temperature rises, then snuggle and rest. Not sure if she has had a good night sleep in a long time. This last one lasted 3 days- whew.
Aislyn is still holding steady at 28-29 pounds. She has weighed the same for about 6 months now. The bean sprout is growing.
We are having a ball trying to get Aislyn to repeat our words. She will say Bubble, ba (for ball) buh bye, nite nite, ma ma and da da. She even says mo for more. When we read I Love You Stinky Face Aislyn will go AAARRHHH for the Aligator.
Aislyn loves to point at things she wants or point and go uh-o (especially if she drops something) If you tell her to get a book, she walks over to her shelf and brings you a book. She understands, but doesn't always do everything you say. She also likes to unpack and pack her toys and mom and dad's clothes.
She also points to her head, belly button and ears if you ask her where is...
We are working on nose, eyes, shoulders and knees (then the song will be complete)
